Teaching
I am a teaching artist, designing curriculum and teaching music classes to children and adults. Topics range from lyric writing workshops, to ongoing group fiddle classes, Suzuki group and individual classes, adult singing classes, and more.
I find balance and fulfillment from working in both the musical arts and in education; each is stimulated by the other.

Suzuki Violin & Guitar Lessons
I teach individual guitar and violin lessons in the Suzuki method from my studio location in Encino/Sherman Oaks. I am a Co-Director for the Suzuki Music Program of LA, where we offer repertoire classes for group violin and guitar, as well as an Old Time fiddle group class, and a violin orchestra class.

Preschool
I am the resident music specialist at the Palisades Preschool in Santa Monica, a school that emphasizes learning through play, and the Reggio Emilia approach to early childhood education. This spring we focused on making, discussing, and thinking about sound sculptures and the associated possibilities of what they could be.
